Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups pecan halves
  • Pinch of salt

How to Make

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together: corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Stir in the pecans.
  4. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 50–60 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden.
  6. Cool completely before slicing so it firms up.
