Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion; cook until beef is browned. Drain excess grease.

In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. Top with half of the cooked beef mixture.

Spoon half of the soup mixture over the beef, then sprinkle with some cheese.
