Introduction:
These cheesy garlic smothered pork chops are a flavor-packed dinner that’s as comforting as it is delicious. Juicy, tender pork chops are seared to perfection, smothered in a creamy garlic sauce, and topped with melted cheese. Perfect for a cozy family meal or an impressive dinner for guests, this recipe is simple to prepare but full of bold flavors.
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
 - 2 tbsp olive oil
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - 1 cup chicken broth
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
 - 3 garlic cloves (minced)
 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
 - 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:
- Prepare the Pork Chops:
- Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

 - Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
 - Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

 - Smother the Pork Chops:
- Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over them. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.

 - Add Cheese:
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the pork chops. Cover the skillet again and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

 - Garnish and Serve:
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Optional: Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal!
