Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese of choice)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and warm water. Knead into a soft dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Roll Out the Dough
- Divide the dough into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin circle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Add the Cheese
- Spread shredded cheese evenly over one dough circle. Place the second dough circle on top and press the edges to seal.
- Cook the Flatbread
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and brush it with olive oil or butter.
