Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 cups old-fashioned oats

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and nuts until evenly distributed.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The center may look slightly soft, but it will firm up as it cools.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
