- 4 cups cornflakes (or crushed digestive biscuits / graham crackers)
- 1 cup soft caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- ยฝ cup sweetened condensed milk
- ยฝ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Optional: pinch of sea salt for topping
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
- Prepare the pan
Line an 8ร8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. - Melt the caramel mixture
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
Add condensed milk and caramel sauce. Stir constantly until smooth and warm (do not boil). - Add the crunch
Remove from heat and gently fold in the cornflakes until fully coated. - Assemble
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared dish. - Top with chocolate
Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top.
Press lightly so they stick. Add sea salt if using. - Chill
Refrigerate for 1โ2 hours, or until firm. - Slice & serve
Cut into squares and enjoy!
